The water sector is all about delivering clean safe drinking water to customers. That means the entire water enterprise is in the business of customer service. As part of the Michigan Water Academy, Customer Service II offers a forum for learning the fundamentals of how to provide excellent customer service to all of your customers.

This course emphasizes teamwork skills as necessary to providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Understanding the importance of the customer service cycle and everyone's role adds to the effectiveness of the team. Terms, definitions, and/or processes common to all customer service organizations are discussed for a broad understanding of how technology is applied to create a more e3fficient environment. Professionalism, attitude, and stress management are critical skills that define effective customer service and are presented to aid attendees' professional growth.
